A Great Invention

Have you had the wonderful experience of strangers poking their head into your child's carriage?

Even dare to...gasp!  Touch your precious little bundle of joy with their germy hands?!!

Well, I have and I'm downright sick of it!  I have never touched another persons child without asking permission, unless of course the kid was going to run into the street.

I found a solution...for now and only while my baby is napping. It's called a carseat canopy. Check out their website http://www.carseatcanopy.com/

It's kind of sends the same message a curtain in a window says to those outside. Privacy please!

And people get it. Thank Goodness!

This is the Carseat canopy I chose. It was free too.
I happened to receive a bag of goodies from Motherhood Maternity after purchasing some items and they had a coupon code. You just have to pay shipping (about $12.95). It retails for $49.95 so it's not a bad deal.

I just saw on a website that either codes: btalk or valentine are supposed to get you this awesome item free.

You Are Almost Four Months Now

I cannot believe just how fast time flies!  Most warn you about it, but you never really listen.

My little guy has grown so much!  From 6 lbs 1.5 oz to nearly 12 lbs!

His Dr. is very happy with his growth. He says to me, "tell everyone who asks, to say, he's doing great! not just good. Grrreat!!

His growth is amazing and he's such a happy baby. He laughed for the first time last Tuesday and it wasn't for me, but for his Dad. I was in another room when it happened.

He did it again...but for my mother last Thursday. Once again I wasn't there. I never thought I was going to hear it for myself, until he laughed this Sunday at his dad...again. It was adorable!!!

I'm still in amazement over having had a child...it still doesn't seem real to me. It's an "almost too good to be true" feeling that overtakes me every time I hold him. He brings so much joy and happiness that I never thought I could feel...even at 4am. I'm (almost) excited to get up and feed him.

Maybe...a little too excited. So excited I didn't sleep too well last night. I anticipated him waking up by at least 4am, maybe earlier for a bottle, so I kept checking on him, but he was sound asleep. He didn't wake till 5am. Which was another first!  So proud of him. Especially since I'm going away in a few days and his grandparents will be watching him. Hopefully, they won't have many sleepless nights.

A few weeks back we took him to get some pictures taken somewhere (I won't mention the name). It didn't go over well with him. He cried and cried. We gave up on the pictures for the day and happened to run into a friend and her daughter. She had her pictures taken at Kiddie Kandids (Babies r us) she said how great they are with babies and boy was she right. They are great!  I took advantage of the $7.99 single pose package. No sitting fees. I definitely recommend them. We took him again recently and we are awaiting the new package of pictures but here are the samples.

*** I did not get paid for the Kiddie Kandids review or receive any free perks from the company.
